After experiencing the loss of someone to suicide I found my family and myself in that surreal place of so very many emotions. As I attempted to answer the child's question of why? I, too, questioned how do we get to such a hopeless and alone place? Do we not all experience a sense of deep separation at times from source, truth, love? In helping my son try to rest more easily at night with these questions we sought sources of comforting words; mantras, hymns, prayers, incantations. What I kept returning to myself were Marianne Williamson's words spoken by Nelson Mandela at his inaugural speach:
Our deepest fear is not that we are inadequate. Our deepest fear is that we are powerful beyond measure. It is out light not our darkness that most frightens us. We ask ourselves, "Who am I to be brilliant, gorgeous, talented, fabulous?"
Actually, who are you not to be? You are a child of God. Your playing small does not serve the world. There is nothing enlightened about shrinking so that other people won't feel insecure around you.
We were born to make manifest the glory of God that is within us. It is not just in some of us. It is in everyone, and, as we let our light shine, we unconsciously give other people permission to do the same. As we are liberated from our own fear, our presence automatically liberates others.
These events have ignited in me a commitment to reaching many people in this simple hour long Repatterning process to help us all move forward through times of change and uncertainty.

Oct 26- OUR LIGHT SHINING AND IT GIVING OTHERS PERMISSION TO DO THE SAME.
